In-Person Montessori Parent-Child Program (Playdates)

Montessori Play Date: Connecting Parents and Children in a Thoughtful Environment

Saturdays at The Montessori Parent Lounge

Toddlers (12–36 months): 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Infants (2–16 months): 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM

For Toddlers:

During the morning session, toddlers will explore a thoughtfully arranged space designed for hands-on learning, movement, independence, and social interaction. Parents will have the opportunity to observe, gently guide when needed, and connect with other like-minded families while gaining insight into the Montessori approach to toddler development.

For Infants:

In the afternoon session, parents and infants will experience a peaceful, movement-rich environment tailored to the infant’s natural drive to explore. This class also includes parent education woven into the session through conversations and brief discussions.
Parents will learn about:

The power of observation: seeing your child's unique needs and interests.
Supporting natural independence from the earliest months.
Meaningful communication with your baby.
Designing a home environment that encourages natural curiosity, independence, and safe movement.
Understanding key stages of development, including sensitive periods for movement, language, and social connection.
Nurturing language development naturally through daily interactions.
